Frederick G. Dalzell, MD was Board-Certified as an Orthopedic Surgeon by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Dalzell’s clinical interests included Sports Injuries, including arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, as well as knee ligament reconstruction and complex fractures. His expertise included partial and total knee replacements and revision surgery.
Dr. Dalzell earned his Doctor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College, distinguished as a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He completed an Assistant Orthopedic Residency at Yale Medical Center and was Orthopedic Chief Residency and Clinical Instructor of Surgery at Yale Medical Center.
Dr. Dalzell’s Past Professional Honors and Recognitions include:
- Named a “Top Doc” in Orthopedic Surgery by SJ Magazine
- Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons
- Past Director of Hahnemann Resident Program
- Dr. Dalzell graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University where he also lettered in football for four years and held the single game record for completions as a quarterback.
- Dr. Dalzell grew up in the area and is also known as a South Jersey sports legend from his days at Holy Spirit High School.
Dr. Dalzell served as past President of the Atlantic County Medical Society and the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society, where he held several positions over the years. Dr. Dalzell was a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey, American Medical Association, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Dalzell’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
