Shore Orthopaedic University Associates provides high quality care for injured workers and has dedicated staff to assist with the necessary communication.

We have a dedicated Workers’ Compensation team that oversees the communication regarding treatment of injured workers who are referred to our practice and serves as a liaison between physicians and the insurance companies, case managers, employers and patients.

The ultimate goal of our Workers’ Compensation team is to ensure that patients get the medical care they need to return to work in a safe and expedient manner.

In addition to providing acute care for all work-related orthopaedic injuries Shore Orthopaedic University Associates also conducts Independent Medical Evaluations and Second Opinions for those employees that need additional care.

Independent Medical Evaluation (IME)

Shore Orthopaedic University Associates also provides a variety of Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) that can be set up by attorneys and legal representatives. Appointments should be initiated by the employer or insurance carrier.
