In Remembrance of Gregory A. Voit, M.D.

Gregory A. Voit, M.D. was both an exceptional physician and person who was deeply loved by his family, his patients, and his physician partners and friends.

Shore Orthopaedic University Associates has established an annual scholarship opportunity at Stockton University in memory of Dr. Voit’s legacy of integrity, compassion and care.

Gregory A. Voit, M.D. was killed December 18, 2013 when the plane he was piloting crashed in Albemarle County, Virginia.  In addition to his exceptional skills as an Orthopedist and Board Certified Hand Surgeon with Shore Orthopaedic University Associates, Dr. Voit served as an orthopedic and hand surgeon from the 101st Airborne Air Assault Division at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.

From 2015 to 2025 an annual award has been given to a full-time undergraduate student from Atlantic or Cape May County, NJ attending the School of Health Sciences with a preference for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Science.
